Prayer Shawl Circle

Prayer Shawl Ministry is a ministry that was started based in love and prayer using our hands in either crocheting or knitting and making something that is tangible, unconditional symbol of care, concern, and or celebration.  This shawl or piece of needlework is given in times of great sorrow or loss, comforting recipients stricken with illness, soothing recipients undergoing surgery and medical treatments, or newborn babies.  They can wrap themselves in a warm hug (shawl), giving them a secure space in their turbulent lives.

If you can crochet or knit, and would like to be a part of this ministry, contact Teresa Hensley at (423) 639-6321.
